New Here?

We invite you to come and experience what God is uniquely doing at Wellspring.  We gather on Sunday mornings to meet with Jesus through praying, hearing the Bible preached, and singing songs centered on Christ.  During the week, we scatter into communities and our city to make Jesus known.  We are humbled by what God is doing and welcome you to join us.

We are a Christ-centered, evangelical church. We are multi-ethnic and long to show the world that we are first and foremost brothers and sisters in Christ. Our worship is Christ-centered, contemporary and evolving into an expression that reflects a multi-ethnic fusion. Our dress is casually comfortable. There is no required dress code, so feel free to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. We have multiple ministries and classes which meet on Sunday mornings; these classes provide an opportunity to connect with others, become more equipped in understanding and living out the gospel, and having fun together.

  • Kidz at the Well - The Preschool Ministry of Wellspring Church for children from infant through preschool age.
  • eKidz - The Children's Ministry of Wellspring Church for children in Kindergarten - 5th grade.
  • Tween Girls - This ministry for pre-teen girls in 5th - 7th grade meets on Sundays at 9 a.m. We seek to partner with families to see their pre-teens develop into godly young women who find their value and identity solely in Christ.
  • Pre-teen boys class - This ministry for pre-teen boys in 5th - 8th grade meets on Sundays at 9 a.m.  Our heart is to disciple our boys in partnership with parents to raise up a generation of genuine Christ-followers who live for Christ.
  • Teen Girls - This ministry for teen girls in 8th - 12th grade meets on Sundays at 9 a.m.
  • Adult Growth Classes - We have several classes on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. that assist people in understanding, applying and living out the good news of Jesus.  There are currently four classes offered:  Gospel Centered Life (GCL), Missional Living, Divine Design (for women), and Man-Up (for men).

Our service starts at 10 a.m., but feel free to arrive @ 9:45 if you'd like to fellowship and enjoy a complimentary cup of tea, juice or water.  More information about who we are and where we are going can be found on this website or at our "Life in the Spring" table on Sundays.

Kidz at the Well

  • Kidz at the Well is the Infant through Preschool Ministry of Wellspring Church.
  • A team of adult and teen volunteers who love children and who have been screened and trained will serve your children.
  • Upon arriving parents should check their child in at the Children’s Welcome Desk. After signing their child in, the child and parent will receive matching numbered wristbands.  These wristbands will be used to securely release the child after service.
  • If your child has a diaper bag, it will also be tagged for easy identification.
  • Children will experience an interactive Bible lesson with a related craft, praise and worship, scripture memory, prayer and a simple gospel presentation.  Age-appropriate toys will be available for the children. A light snack will be served.
  • Immediately following the worship service, parents should pick up their children and sign them out.
  • Contact the church office at (704) 821-4585 or via the contact form

Wellspring Church is a diverse community of Christ followers who seek to love and serve Jesus, one another and our city.  According to those who know us well, the three words that best describe us are “welcoming”, “satisfying” and “transforming.”  Join us on Sunday and check us out for yourself.

Visiting a church for the first or second time can be exciting, overwhelming or even intimidating. Trust me, we have all been there.  In order to make your experience enjoyable and fruitful, we offer you a pathway to assist in prayerfully assessing your Wellspring experience. This will help you get acquainted with Wellspring, show you how to get involved and gather enough information to consider partnering with us.

We understand that trying to find a new church where you can fit in and serve takes time.  To be frankly honest, it takes more than two to three consecutive or sporadic visits.  Although you can get a quick glimpse of the worship flow, the ministry line-up and the preaching style in a visit or two, you would still miss the feel of the church - who the people are, what they believe, how they relate, what the heart of the leadership is, where the church is headed and how you can contribute to them getting there.

The pathway we are inviting you on is called “Hang 4 Six”.  We are asking you to consider “hanging with us for six weeks” in order to determine whether Wellspring is a fit for you and your family.  Within those six weeks we encourage you to do the following:

-          Enroll your children in our children’s ministry

-          Attend a growth group on Sunday Mornings.

-          Join "The City" our online community network.

-          Attend UpClose a time after service to meet our leadership.

-         Go out to lunch or coffee with someone you meet

Again, our intention is to help you understand who we are and assist you in feeling welcomed into our community.  At any point in time, feel free to ask Pastor Bond any questions regarding the church or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
