Wellspring believes that God will build his church and minister to the world as faithful believers give regularly, cheerfully, and sacrificially. Wellspring is grateful to be a debt-free ministry and will seek to strive to execute all financial dealings with the utmost integrity and transparency. We truly believe that we're stewards of God's money.

We launched Project218 as a means of gathering people who would be willing to volunteer, give and partner with us as we seek to build our church for the good of our city.  Regardless of your affiliation with Wellspring, this is an opportunity for everyone - partners, regular attendees, visitors and friends - to get involved.

In a nutshell, Project218 is about volunteering, giving and partnering with the leadership and others in the church.

Volunteers: We are believing God for over 200 people who will volunteer to serve in multiple areas of need within the church.  We have opportunities to serve in various areas such as children, middle school and high school students, hospitality, administration, audio/visual, setup/breakdown, drama, arts, etc.   More people and volunteers will assist in backfilling ministries and freeing others up to serve more strategically.

Giving: Our ministry needs are great as we seek to minister effectively; therefore, giving tithes and offerings is going to be essential.  Being committed to build means being committed to give and sacrifice for the sake of what we are trying to build.  With more than 200 people giving to the church, we will have plenty of resources to continue to execute ministry.

Partnering: As we gain momentum in Project218, we anticipate a direct effect on our partner numbers.  As our partner numbers increase, we will be able to establish a solid and stable core.  As we disciple a growing core population, our impact will be felt greater in our community and city.  Consequently, as our numbers grow, it will allow us to begin entertaining a lease or purchase of permanent meeting space.

Partnership is the venue that has been chosen to offer “membership” in Wellspring Church. We use “partner” instead of “member” to signify a partnership in the work that Jesus has for Wellspring Church as it seeks to serve the city of Charlotte and surrounding areas. Whereas “member” conjures up images of privilege and entitlement, “partner” signifies responsibility, working together, and mutual benefit. Members receive, while partners bring some things to the table that will benefit all.

The Partnership Seminar is our way of equipping those who have expressed an interest in learning more about Wellspring up close and personal, and for those who desire to partner with Wellspring Church for on-going worship, fellowship, ministry, and service. During this time, you will learn more about:

• What it means to be a gospel-driven, Christ-centered church
• Missional Living
• Living life in community
• Male and female distinctives
• Church government
• Church discipline
• Stewardship
